These candles are total showstoppers. Il Buco Vita's candlemaker crafts the ancient "duplero" candles entirely by hand, a medieval style that's been an Italian tradition for centuries with a hand-forged in Umbria holder; this process, one of the oldest known metalworking techniques, involves heating a piece of iron until malleable and then applying a range of tools to flatten and stretch the metal with care to the desired shape. The results are unlike anything we've seen.
